I’m leaving a one-month review after breast surgery at ㅍㄹ Plastic Surgery.
From right after surgery to week 1, the pain was much milder than I expected, and it was a little uncomfortable when lying down and getting up or when raising my arms upward. It hurt when I sneezed and when I laughed. Since I had to sleep lying straight on my back, I think people with restless sleeping habits need to be quite careful in the beginning. From week 2, the pain and discomfort noticeably decreased, and I was able to do all daily activities. Only lifting heavy objects or using my arms for a long time was a bit difficult. Now, at one month, there’s almost no pain, just some stiffness or pulling sensation, and there’s no major inconvenience in daily life at all!! In the beginning, the upper breast area was especially swollen and firm, so the shape looked awkward, but after a month, the line has become very natural. The texture also felt hard and very foreign at first, but now, although it’s not completely soft yet, it’s definitely becoming softer. I’m still wearing the corrective bra, and I’m still being careful with exercise and drinking alcohol as the hospital instructed. Personally, I think one month is still early to say definitively whether it’s like this or that, but at this point, I really feel that I’m so glad I had the surgery. The biggest thing is that the fit of my upper body has clearly changed. Before, my upper body looked flat, so I always felt disappointed, but now when I wear clothes, the line is alive, and the body-shaping effect is clear. The breast shape has settled into a round shape, so I’m also looking forward to choosing underwear later. Also, the overly artificial feeling I worried about before surgery is gradually decreasing, and I’m satisfied that the overall contour has become softer as the swelling naturally goes down! As I mentioned earlier, the texture is definitely improving compared with the beginning, so I’m looking forward to it becoming even more natural with time. Most of all, the biggest change is that my confidence has gone up psychologically. I’m still in the recovery stage, so there are things I need to be careful about, but based on the one-month point, I have no regrets at all about the result and feel even more that it was a good choice! I want to keep watching how much more natural it becomes after 3 months and 6 months, and I’m really looking forward to it.
