Cheekbone Surgery Reviews@cheekbone-review

Day 1 review after 3 types of facial contouring surgery, I'll write it in full detail

I'll upload photos after discussing it with the hospital. For reference, I think I'm the type who doesn't swell much.. Now I'll write it really in detail. I went with my fiance as my guardian. I live outside Seoul, so we got a room in Seoul and went the day before, and since the surgery was in the morning, fasting wasn't too hard. Not smoking was very hard, but after the surgery ended, I didn't even think about cigarettes. The day before, I was really nervous and kept looking through reviews. Will I really open my eyes and be in the recovery room? How painful will it be not being able to eat? How badly will I swell? I worried about things like that a lot and then fell asleep. Surgery day D-day Things I brought to the hospital: neck pillow, wet wipes, phone charger, glasses. I think that was all. But I think it would be good to bring a humidifierㅠㅠ I really regretted it. My throat was dry, so I kept swallowing hard. On the day of surgery, when I went to the hospital, they took pre-op photos and planned the design once again with the director. Then I changed into surgical clothes. They gave me disposable underwear, and it felt like I had become a native person, so it felt really weird ㅋㅋㅋ Then I lay right down on the operating table, they put in the IV, and told me to wear the oxygen mask. They told me to take deep breaths, and I remember exactly taking 2 deep breaths, then nothing after that. I immediately heard my fiance saying I had to wake up, I had to come out of anesthesia, wake up, wake up! and I was really disoriented and dazed. I had no nausea and no vomiting symptoms at all, but I was sooooo sleepy. I really couldn't open my eyes and kept sleeping and waking, sleeping and waking. It seemed better than other symptoms, but since I couldn't get my head together, that was hard in its own way too. For pain, I felt a slight pulling around the sideburn area and the square jaw area, but it wasn't like severe pain. When drinking water, because I had no sensation in my lips, I ended up drinking while dribbling, and I sometimes drooled too. Going to the bathroom was a bit scary too. When I went to the bathroom, I covered my mouth with tissue and dragged the IV with me, and at first I got dizzy. And there was blood coming out on the tissue covering my mouth.. ㄷㄷ It's a bit TMI, but even urinating only came out if I strained. I don't know why.. Now it just comes out fine haha. I guess it was temporary. I was a bit scared thinking I'd be alone at night, but the nurse stayed there the whole time, so I felt a bit reassured. People say the first day is the hardest, and I think that's true... Also, they said fasting was required on the day of surgery, so I couldn't eat anything, but I didn't even feel like eating. Day 1 after surgery In the morning, they removed the blood drains and took off the tape. Then they put on new tape and told me to remove it tomorrow. When they removed the blood drains, it just felt sore and throbbing, not painful. I can close my mouth now, so I don't drool anymore (yesterday it wouldn't close), and I can open it enough to fit one index finger. In the morning I saw the doctor, made the next follow-up appointment, and then rode down in my fiance's car, but every time the car shook, I could feel the force of gravity, so it was a bit hard. The sadness of living outside Seoul ㅠㅠ On the way, I made a pickup reservation for pumpkin porridge from Bonjuk, and asked them to remove all the solids and cool it down a little. Bonjuk can finely blend some of their porridges like thin rice gruel and portion them out too. Keep that in mind. I also bought some New Care and pumpkin juice, and I wanted ice cream so badly that I went to Baskin Robbins partly to get their spoon and bought basic flavors without chunks (chocolate, vanilla, yogurt). When I got home, I cooled the pumpkin porridge and ate it with the Baskin Robbins spoon, but even when it got on my lips I couldn't feel it, and I had no appetite, so I couldn't eat much. I hadn't eaten anything yesterday or today, but I was worried about my health, so I forced myself to drink one more bottle of New Care, ate about 5 spoonfuls of Baskin Robbins, and put it back in the freezer. The swelling went down a lot, and for me it goes down really quickly. I'm writing this while doing cold compresses now. I had arranged all my work as remote work, but I have to start working right now. Haㅠ They said coffee is okay, so I also bought an iced Americano at Baskin Robbins. I'll drink it while working... Such is the life of a salaried worker ㅋㅋ Oh! They said not to use straws. New Care also comes in a straw version, so be careful when buying it. I bought the one with a straw without knowingㅠㅠ The reason you can't use a straw is that if you sip through a straw, it puts pressure on your face. They told me not to do anything that puts pressure on the face. Lowering your head, straining for a long time, and so on! I'm pouring the coffee separately into a paper cup, holding tissue underneath, and drinking carefully.. Still, it's something. They say day 7 is the critical stretch, so if I just get through one week well, it'll probably be okay.. I really want to eat Chapagettiㅠㅠㅠ Sorry for writing so incoherently and all over the place. I'll post another review tomorrow
