The reason I had surgery was that the nose I had done at a local clinic 10 years ago had silicone that was too long compared with the length of my nose, and it had descended as far as it could, so the nasal tip was showing through. Not immediately, but they said the silicone could eventually pierce through the nasal tip (the hospitals I had consultations at). And they hadn’t touched the nasal tip at all.. It was a situation where people couldn’t even tell I’d had rhinoplasty..ㅠㅠ
Until right before I lay down in the operating room, I kept saying like crazy, please raise it as much as possible, as high as you can, so when I saw the director and nurse at my follow-up, they were even more regretful than I was that they couldn’t raise it more because there wasn’t enough skin. Still, they said it’s not like they could leave the nose open haha Right.. that’s true.. Considering they said they couldn’t raise it much, I really love the nasal tip line haha. My nasolabial angle had been recessed, making my mouth protrude, but through nasolabial angle correction, the protruding-mouth look disappeared haha I didn’t do nostril lowering, but they made my nostrils show less haha. From the pre-surgery consultation to choosing the hospital and even until right before lying down in the operating room, I kept wondering whether choosing this hospital was the right decision (it was the most expensive), and I kept reading other people’s review comments. But after surgery, the columellar scar doesn’t show at all, there’s no nostril asymmetry, swelling was minimal, bruising was almost nonexistent, and everyone around me says it turned out well, so I have absolutely no regrets about my choice!!! I’m so satisfied!
