Gangnam Station ㄱㄹㄷ Plastic Surgery Clinic

Clinic name: ㄱㄹㄷ Plastic Surgery Clinic

I was shocked as soon as I went there. I thought I was in China. I felt like I was a Korean person who had gone on an expedition to a Chinese plastic surgery clinic haha People were talking “jjangkkwalla kkyulla~~” here and there, and it was seriously noisy and chaotic………… Each clinic may have its own concept, but this place definitely doesn’t seem to have a premium concept. When there are lots of Chinese people, the upscale feeling disappears completely. It wasn’t just one person here and there; they were moving around in groups, ha… The consultant was also unfriendly. If they don’t have expertise, they should just give the price estimate clearly.. They also randomly inflated the price. They quoted twice the price listed on the phone and website. When I asked why, they rambled incoherently. They clearly said revision surgery starts from 2.5 million won (it’s written that way on the website too), but then suddenly changed it to starting from 3.5 million won… Seems like they give estimates after sizing up the visitor.?

Something I felt after doing a lot of consultation visits: Hospitals with fixed pricing are at least trustworthy. I’ve come to automatically avoid hospitals that lure people in with event prices^^ㅋ That kind of place sees patients as nothing but money..

Since it’s their livelihood, seeing it as money isn’t the problem, but seeing patients **only** as money is a dangerous perspective. That’s why safety issues happen, and then they play dumb.

First of all, there aren’t many hospitals with fixed pricing. Because they need to negotiate while sizing up the visitor haha If you roughly ask the price over the phone, and the price you actually get at the consultation is fairly similar, or if they quote higher for a reasonable reason, then even if it’s expensive, it’s totally OK.

The director gave a kind and good consultation. And he looked at things in detail. But the style he aimed for was different from mine. He kept recommending implants, so I passed.

Hospital atmosphere: a chaotic Chinese marketplace
