When doing a full removal, if they leave a strut because they’re worried the nose might collapse, there can be a foreign-body sensation, you know. But at places like ㄱㅇㅅ, ㅅㅅㅇ, and ㅅㅇ, they also prevent collapse with septal reinforcement. The additional cost is 1.65 million at ㄱㅇㅅ, 800,000 at ㅅㅇ, and free at ㅅㅅㅇ. What exactly is the difference in outcome between a strut and reinforcement? In my view, a strut is placed between the septum, so there can be a foreign-body sensation, and I feel like the columella could become crooked or problems could occur later, which is why people sometimes remove it afterward. So I wonder if reinforcement might be better. Am I understanding this wrong? What do you all think?
