10 years ago, I had my first surgery with partial incision? minimal incision? but it came undone, so now I’m looking into revision surgery. It was so long ago that I don’t remember clearly, but I think I went to consultations at about 3 clinics. Back then, there were also a lot of posts about side effects from ptosis correction, so I really wanted to avoid ptosis correction, and just then I found a clinic that said I didn’t need ptosis correction, so I decided to have surgery there right away. At first, the swelling lasted too long and I thought the line was high, but after exactly 6 months, I liked it.. It would have been nice if it had stayed that way, but 8 years later, one eye came undone.. And within a year, the other eye came undone too So I’m looking into revision surgery now, and I’ve been to 5 places so far, but every single one says I need ptosis correction. I wonder if it wouldn’t have come undone until now if I had looked into it more and had ptosis correction back then.. But I also liked my first surgery, so I’m not sure.. Anyway, I recommend getting consultations at several places and choosing the surgical method that is recommended the most.
