Before rhinoplasty, what bothered me most was that my nasal line overall looked low and spread out. In particular, when viewed from the front, the glabella area looked indistinct, and the connection between the nasal bridge and the nasal tip did not look natural, so I wanted to improve the fact that my face did not look well-defined. I also wanted to take care of the filler that remained from a previous procedure, which led me to consider rhinoplasty. I came across RU Plastic Surgery while looking up rhinoplasty reviews, and I noticed that many of the reviews focused on natural-looking results. I was impressed by the fact that they design the nose to suit the face well without making it excessive. During the consultation, they did not recommend unnecessary surgery, and I trusted the way they explained things according to my face, so I decided to undergo autologous costal cartilage rhinoplasty. I had my consultation and medical care with Director Kim Hyun-joo, and based on my face shape and existing nasal condition, we decided to proceed with rhinoplasty including osteotomy, nasal tip reinforcement using autologous costal cartilage, and removal of the existing filler and thread. During the consultation, she explained the line very meticulously, and clearly pointed out both the direction I wanted and what was realistically possible, which made me feel reassured. During the recovery process after rhinoplasty, there was swelling around the glabella and nose in the early stage, but as I carefully followed the care instructions they gave me, I felt it gradually stabilizing. As time passed and the swelling went down, the line naturally became more defined, and I liked that my impression looked much clearer than before from both the front and side. It does not stand out excessively, but my overall facial balance feels improved, so I am very satisfied.
