It was my first time, so they recommended 40 cc, but I only received 20 cc. I had it in the anterior cheek and cheekbone area, but even after several months, there is no major effect. The swelling was tremendous, so even though I am thinking about getting it again, I hesitate. I am wondering whether it only works after getting it several times. The director is machine-like and rather stiff
