Honest review at 3 months after facial contouring surgery!! I really thought a lot before deciding on facial contouring surgeryㅜㅠ I had square jaw Botox several times, but the effect was limited, and since my cheekbones protruded, I was so stressed that my face looked big from the front or at a 45-degree angle! Every time I took photos, I was conscious of my face shape, and I wasn’t satisfied with selfies without editing haha Because of that, I naturally became interested in facial contouring surgery~ But honestly, I was really scared of surgery, and because I was worried about the recovery period and side effects, it was hard to make the decision easily ㅠ For several months, I went to hospital consultations and looked up tons of reviews, and in the end, after thinking it over, I decided to have 1-type cheekbone surgery at The Standard of Contouring!! Now I’m at 3 months, and my facial line has definitely become softer, and overall it feels like my contours have been organized~ Since my cheekbones were reduced, the width of my face from the front has definitely narrowed, and my jawline has become slimmer too haha Before, I paid a lot of attention to the angle when taking selfies, but now my face shape looks natural and I like it no matter what angle I take photos from!! Since my face has gotten smaller, my overall proportions look better too, and I like that I can try different styling options~!~! Honestly, the first week right after surgery was really hardㅠㅠ The swelling was severe, and because of the intraoral incision site, eating was so uncomfortable For the first few days, I got through it by eating thin rice porridge, and until the one-month mark, I mainly ate soft foods~ The speed at which swelling goes down varies by person, but for me, it slowly started to go down from week 2, and after about a month, it didn’t really show much in daily life!! But just because the major swelling went down didn’t mean it was over; it took more time for the fine swelling to go away completely haha Even now at 3 months, when I wake up in the morning, my face feels slightly swollen! Honestly, if I said I’m 100% perfectly satisfied, that might be a lie At first, while the swelling was going down, my face looked awkward, and I also worried that there might be asymmetry haha But by 3 months, my face definitely became more natural, and my satisfaction with the result also increased~ People around me also say my face looks much more refined, and I hear a lot that I became prettier naturally, so it feels good haha My family opposed the surgery at first, but now they actually react by saying it was a good decision~ My friends also didn’t notice a big difference at first, but when they compared it with old photos, they said it’s definitely different!! But rather than saying I changed drastically, many people said things like it looks like I lost weight or my facial line looks more refined haha It feels like I became prettier naturally, so I’m even more satisfied too!! The recovery process so far hasn’t been easy, but as time passes, it’s becoming more and more natural, so I’m looking forward to what’s ahead even more~!! They say it’ll get even prettier around the 6-month mark, so it’s also fun to watch the changes day by day haha I’m relieved the result is good after worrying so much, and now I think I’m glad I had the surgery~!!
