I went for a consultation after watching YouTube, but unlike how they seemed in the videos, they were a bit unfriendly, which surprised me. It felt like they were trying to keep the conversation to only what was necessary and move quickly, and I didn’t feel that their tone was considerate toward the patient. They analyzed my eye shape very well, and the surgical method they suggested was convincing, but since it was a revision surgery and they said only double-line excision was possible, I had it done somewhere else. I was also hesitant about being left with two scars, and when I went around for consultations, there were clinic directors who said they didn’t understand why double-line excision would be done, so I thought it would be better not to choose a surgical method that was so controversial…
