I went in for a consultation about revision eye surgery at a plastic surgery clinic, and honestly, I was left with more disappointments than anything else. Because the consultation time was short, I did not get the feeling that they examined my current eye condition thoroughly, and the analysis of problems caused by the previous surgery also felt rather shallow. Even when I asked questions, I got a lot of textbook-style answers, so instead of explanations tailored to my case, it sounded more like standardized lines, and although they emphasized the risks and limits unique to revision surgery, the specific solutions were not clearly explained. The design explanation was also only mentioned briefly in words, so it was hard to imagine how things would actually change, and the cost explanation was also lacking in terms of why that amount was quoted. Overall, rather than easing the patient's anxiety, it felt like they were trying to get to a conclusion quickly, so I thought the consultation was not sufficient for making a careful decision.
