I asked if it was possible to reduce my cheekbones with Botox, and the manager only said good things and didn't mention a single side effect. I said I had plans right after getting the Botox, and they even told me I could still go because it wouldn't show. They injected a whole lot of medication into the Botox, and it took two hours for my face to swell up and absorb it. It was so obvious that I canceled my plans and only after the swelling finally went down did I end up with severe bruising, and from the next day my face was stuck in a smiling or frowning expression. After that, the cheekbones collapsed inward very badly, to the point where I couldn't really function socially.
