Before before after after after, the whole surgery process
My dad has a really, really big nasal hump, and I take after him, so my hump is really severe too ㅜㅜ The hump nose was the biggest issue, and I also wanted to lift my drooping nasal tip.. When I smiled, my nasal tip came down so much that it almost covered the area above my mouth, so the arrow-shaped nose? was severe too ㅜㅜ I had been worrying about it since I was 20 and went to a few consultations, and this time I finally felt like I really had to do it, so I booked the surgery!!!!! The other clinics all had a lot of good points too, and I really debated where to do it, but after seeing reviews for implant-free rhinoplasty, I went for a consultation at D-Day Plastic Surgery because it seemed good. During the consultation, there was something that really clicked with me: from the start, the director recommended doing it without an implant since my nasal bridge was already high? And because my hump was so big, they said that if they removed it all, I could end up with a saddle nose! It was my first time hearing the term saddle nose, but they said that when shaving down a hump, if you shave too much, it can actually become sunken. So instead of shaving the hump down completely, they would shave it to a certain extent and then fill the glabella area with cartilage!!! Since I really hated silicone, I thought this method was the best!! I had seen reviews saying that using cartilage for the nasal bridge can make it bumpy, so I was a bit worried...? But they said they crush? mince? break down? the costal cartilage and shape it nicely like silicone before putting it in, so I wouldn’t have to worry about that!!!!!
Post-surgery process I didn’t have major swelling after surgery, and before rhinoplasty I was really worried because I get nosebleeds very easily and my nose seems weak, so I was scared I wouldn’t recover well. Fortunately, after surgery, I didn’t keep bleeding or get nosebleeds~~!! After the nasal splint was removed, when I touched it lightly it felt a little uneven, but the shape looked good!!!!!! When I asked, they said that if it were silicone, it would just feel smooth, but since they put in minced cartilage, I might feel it slightly when touching it, and that it would be fine over time!! I had that feeling until about a month and a half to two months, but now that it’s been a little over three months, that feeling is zero!! It feels like a smooth nose with no hump, and I’ve never touched a silicone nose so I don’t know, but I think it would be similar!!
Final review
For the front-view effect, since I didn’t do anything else and didn’t put in silicone, I think the front looks similar. Compared with before, the nasal tip feels lifted as if something is supporting it? The arrow-like look is gone, and when I look at my nose slightly from the side, the hump is zero, zero!!!! It looks so natural, like it was never there ㅜㅜ This is what I wanted... The director said before surgery that the hump might show a little, but it doesn’t show even 1%, and I think it turned out completely natural and well ㅜㅜㅜ The rhinoplasty result is good, implant-free is good, and the best thing is that the hump is gone, but anyway everything is good. The director was good too. The consultant was good too!!!!!
