I had the basic 3-type facial contouring plus masseter muscle resection, and I think I’m currently almost 5 months post-op. I hated that “just a big face” look that stood out every time I took photos, so I considered facial contouring surgery. I kept avoiding it because surgery scared me, but I decided to go through with it because I wanted to have the surgery and live looking pretty. I think I chose the hospital largely because the doctor’s consultation was the kindest and felt the most professional. I didn’t decide right away that day; I went to all the other hospitals I had booked consultations with, then made my final decision. I don’t regret my decision.
