Since I was young, my nostrils/alar base were very wide, so I had thought about surgery, but I didn’t want to completely change the shape of my nose, so it never really went anywhere. Recently, I heard that it was possible to have only alar reduction surgery. Other places recommended correcting the nasal tip as well, but at the clinic, the director said right away that I would likely improve with just that, so I decided to go ahead. There was almost no pain after the first day, and because I dislike an unnatural look, I only had alar reduction done. I think it was a surgery that I personally found very satisfying.
