Cold/warm compresses after rhinoplasty

For my rhinoplasty, I had hump reduction, 2 mm silicone, and nasal tip surgery. They said there wasn’t much bleeding, so after bleeding into the cotton on the first day, and after the cotton was removed on day 2, there was no bleeding. I also didn’t get facial bruising, and from day 2 the yellow bruising was not severe right away, with almost no facial swelling. However, my nose swelling is severe and it is lifted up. In this case, would it be better to use warm compresses instead of cold compresses for blood circulation? I understand that cold compresses normally constrict blood vessels and help prevent early bruising caused by bleeding, but in this case, could it actually be better to promote blood circulation...
