People often say the airway has become narrower. When I touch inside my nostrils, I can feel the nasal septum inside my left nostril. It feels like about half of the inside of the nostril is blocked by the protruding septal cartilage. Both nostrils are open, and I can feel air passing through well. But I can’t breathe comfortably, and it feels like too much air is coming in while also leaking out. I’m so scared that this might be empty nose syndrome right now ㅠ Is this happening simply because it has become narrower due to the septal cartilage, or did the surgery go wrong and cause symptoms of empty nose syndrome? Is there anyone here with experience? Even after removing only the septum…
