I had silicone used for the nasal bridge support, donated costal cartilage used, and ear cartilage used for the nasal tip. But as I’ve been losing weight, it looks too high, so I want to lower just the nasal tip a bit. I went to the hospital where I had it done today for a consultation, and they said they could remove about one layer of cartilage from the nasal tip with a closed approach. I don’t know much about this surgery, so has anyone had it done? What worries me is that even if one layer is removed, my nasolabial angle and the rounded shape of my nasal tip are really pretty right now, so I’m curious whether those can be maintained. I’m also wondering whether adhesions can occur between the pieces of ear cartilage, and whether it’s possible to remove only one piece…

I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
