On the day of surgery, I go to the hospital and change clothes. After that, I wash my face, brush my teeth, and gargle. I hear from the doctor what surgery I’ll be having and wait until going into the operating room, then a nurse calls me. I guess it’s time to go. I lie down on the operating bed by myself. They place an injection needle in my arm to administer something similar to an IV. The doctor comes in. They say they’re going to inject the anesthetic now, so I’ll feel dizzy. The anesthetic goes into the same place where they said I was getting the IV earlier. I feel dizzy. It feels like downing 5 or 6 bottles of soju in one shot and riding a Disco Pang Pang ...
