Honestly, I only wanted to do the nasal tip, but they said I had to do the bridge too, so I did both. It looked too artificial. Septal cartilage for the nasal tip, 1.5 mm silicone for the nasal bridge.
A nose that anyone could tell was done. And the silicone showed through between my eyebrows. It looked pretty from the front, but from the side it was really high. If you only looked at my nose, it was really pretty, but it did not suit my face. Also, it made my eyes look close together, so I wondered if doing epicanthoplasty reversal first would help, but that went completely badly, so in the end I decided to lower the bridge.
Honestly, I wanted to remove it completely. But the director honestly said that if I took everything out, it would look strange. Since my nasal tip itself is on the high side, if only that part stayed raised, I would look like Pinocchio. He said he would trim it thinner and make it look natural. Even so, at first I said I did not want that.
Honestly, removing the silicone and repositioning the cartilage ends quickly. But if he were to trim the bridge and adjust the nasal tip to shape the line, it would take more than another hour, so removing the silicone would be easier. But he said if I removed it, I would definitely end up having revision surgery again, and hearing that made me easily swayed.
So I decided to lower the silicone even more and lower the dorsal line, and had the surgery. Before anesthesia in the operating room, I told the director that I absolutely hated it being high, and that I wanted it low, rounded, and natural no matter what, then had the surgery.
I had surgery at 10:30 a.m., and when I got home it was 1 p.m. It seems like the surgery took almost an hour, then I came out right away after about 30 minutes. I could have stayed longer, but after waking up from anesthesia, lying down longer actually made me feel worse, so I endured it with willpower.
They put small cotton pieces inside my nose and told me to remove them by myself tomorrow. They did not use a splint. They said the taping would be removed after 5 days, and the stitches after 7 days.
Because of the taping, I cannot see well... The surgery went well, right? ㅜㅜ
But why did they not use a splint? Are there cases where they do not use one?
I will upload photos from immediately after surgery! It was closed rhinoplasty. Honestly, because it was closed, the scar would not show, so I did not feel burdened about revision surgery.
The photo with my eyes covered is 6 months after the first surgery. For reference... people around me said my nose was pretty and many went to this clinic. Even though I had revision surgery, I still trust the director now.
