I had full removal on Wednesday, and today is day 3. I have a splint and cotton packing in. I thought I’d feel relieved after full removal, but after the surgery I was told things like the inside of my nose was in bad condition, the nasal bone had dissolved, there’s a high chance I’ll develop a saddle nose, and contracture could happen, so I’m having such a hard time emotionally and feel like I’m going to get depression During the consultation, they clearly said I could go back to my natural nose, but I guess it didn’t show on the outside and the inside of my nose was really damaged If I’d known this would happen, I wonder if I should have at least refined just the nasal tip with autologous cartilage instead of doing full removal.
