After I got COVID, the inside of my nose has been hurting lately. It feels like there’s a bit of a smell too, and since inflammation inside my nose has been happening easily ever since my first rhinoplasty, I’m debating whether I should remove the existing silicone implant or replace it. If I replace it, I’m scared the inflammation won’t be resolved and other side effects might happen, and if I remove it, I’m scared my nose will become lower and look unattractive. I’m worried. First of all, I need to take care of the health condition inside my nose, but it just feels like I’m living with a ticking time bomb. I’m scared that at this rate inflammation could cause contracture ㅜㅜ Maybe I’ve seen too many side-effect cases.

I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
