It’s been 9 years since surgery, and I only had silicone placed in my nose. Some autoimmune-related levels came out a bit elevated, so I’m planning to remove the silicone. I went for a consultation at the clinic where I had surgery before, and they asked why I wanted to remove something that was perfectly fine, so I wavered, but I’m going to remove it. But they said we’d need to consult on the day of surgery about whether it would be closed or open approach, and I naturally thought it would be closed because it’s just removing silicone. Open approach is so scary, so could anyone recommend a removal clinic that does it by closed approach?

I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
