When you have septal extension surgery, the nose tip is fixed all the way to the tip and doesn’t move, and only the nostril wings move. If the septal extension is removed, right after surgery does it become soft and move without being fixed? Also, I heard that after going through the contracture phase, it becomes firm again. At that point, if it’s firm, does it feel fixed like after septal cartilage surgery?
