7-8 years ago, I had nasal surgery with silicone and closed rhinoplasty using nasal cartilage, and I had intermittent tenderness and redness. Recently it got worse, so I’ve been going to consultations for either revision surgery or removal, and in conclusion I’ve made up my mind to remove it. I still haven’t decided on a clinic. I’ve been to 4 places so far, and seriously, all 4 directors said different things. At the place I went to today, they said it seems like chronic inflammation, it looks longstanding, and contracture seems to be progressing. Then under the light, they poked around with forceps and a cotton swab and said it looks like septal cartilage was used too. The other 3 places never said anything like that, even after taking CT scans. The director said…

I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
