- In 2018, I only had silicone inserted. It was silicone all the way to the nasal tip - In October 2022, I had revision surgery at the same hospital with Gore-Tex and septal cartilage
The reason they used Gore-Tex was that it is an implant with lots of holes, and they said my tissue would grow into the spaces between those holes, making the shape much more natural than silicone. So it would not feel like an implant
But there is a reason people say not to use it. Even before one year had passed after surgery, the nasal bridge started to become crooked and ache. Removal…
