Nose + paranasal augmentation, day 9

I wrote about the early post-op period under the same name below, so please refer to that.. It’s now day 10. The swelling was worst on the 2nd day after surgery. Some people said it gets worse on day 3, but starting on day 3, I felt the swelling going down very slightly, so I thought, ‘Ah, the worst is passing now.’ From the day of surgery until about day 5, I used the cold packs the hospital gave me and raw eggs and such, and sat at home applying compresses almost all day. The bruising around my eyes was so severe that I searched this board and Naver for ways to make bruises clear faster, and even cut out purple paper and stuck it around my eyes.. -_- So until day 2 after surgery, it kept getting worse; day 3 was stagnant; from day 4 onward, the swelling kept improving as it went down. For the paranasal augmentation area, one cheek was much more swollen, so the asymmetry was severe, but as the facial swelling went down, it slowly returned to symmetry... Until about day 5, because of my swollen cheeks and the blood bruises around my eyes, I didn’t look human at all Around day 7, the asymmetry decreased a lot. Anyway, around days 5~7, I gradually became less diligent with cold compresses, but I didn’t go outside and rested at home while taking things like vitamin C, which is said to be good for cell regeneration. Now, 9 days after surgery, my cheeks are only slightly swollen, and at a glance it has improved enough that you can barely tell. However, there is still red bruising around my eyes and eyelids, and red blood marks in the whites of my eyes.. unpleasant to look at.. remain.. At least the purple blood bruising has faded to red, so I feel like it will be almost fully healed after 3~4 more days. Because of the eye color, I still don’t really feel comfortable going outside. Anyway, as someone who had my nose and paranasal augmentation done, it seems like the silicone on both sides of my nose went in reasonably well.. and I feel like my face has become slightly more three-dimensional... I’ll have to wait a bit longer to know the overall result... Anyway, I’m relieved the swelling is going down safely and there are no major problems. I’ll post again when it’s been 2~3 weeks. ^^
