Today is exactly the 10th day since I had my nose done. (reoperation: full-incision double eyelid + Gore-Tex + cartilage + fat removal) When I went to have the stitches removed on the 7th day, they said I was much more swollen than other people (that a lot of blood had pooled in my nose), so they told me to keep taking antibiotics and do warm compresses, so I’ve been doing that. I went to the hospital today, and the doctor told me to press on it so the blood wouldn’t clot, and while saying that, he pressed down firmly, again and again, and it hurt so much. Even after coming home, it still hurts so much now. Right now, the area around the bridge between my eyes is especially very swollen, and overall it looks similar to the first day after nose surgery, when it was swollen. If any of you have had something similar, how did you get the swelling to go down? And could this be inflammation? I want to know how long this swelling might last.
