I had functional rhinoplasty last year, and because of a foreign-body sensation, I was looking into removal. There is mesh overlaid as a spreader graft on the nasal valve side, and if this is removed, there is a high chance of saddle nose and collapse, so many hospitals are recommending revision surgery with autologous costal cartilageㅜ Has anyone here had septal reconstruction with autologous costal cartilage? I’m worried the foreign-body sensation and side effects might happen again. Also, please tell me hospitals with a lot of experience using autologous costal cartilage.

I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
