First of all, I had surgery without an implant, with a septal cartilage strut and ear cartilage placed in the nasal tip. But I tend to have a hump, so I also had an osteotomy, and I think they removed a lot of septal cartilage tooㅜ I had my first surgery at an ENT clinic, and they say that if I remove it, it will definitely collapse and that it's dangerous. So far I've gone for consultations at three places, and all three spoke positively, saying things like I don't have columellar retraction and that it won't collapse. Butㅜ I'm thinking of this as my last surgeryㅜ so I'm really anxious about whether it won't collapse if I remove everything. If I have to leave a strut, they say I need to use costal cartilage, but costal cartilage...
