Originally, there’s a ligament connecting the alar cartilages, right? Since that was cut during surgery, if you do a full removal, scar tissue will naturally form during the wound-healing process and contraction will occur too. But if there’s no nasal tip support, how is it supposed to withstand that force? Even if the contraction happens and then improves, it probably won’t completely release back to how it was before surgery. I also saw that scar tissue can act as support, but it doesn’t form immediately after surgery, and even after forming, it shrinks to some extent. So is it really able to serve as support? Even if it does provide support, what about decades later, 40 or 50 years…
