Everyone, when removing a septal extension, do you reinforce with the cartilage instead of throwing it away? Mine is a septal extension using septal cartilage, and it feels like a waste to remove it and throw it away. Anyway, it’s autologous tissue that money can’t buy. If I just ask them to reinforce the septum, will they do it? Also, if anyone is against removing it at the hospital where I had the surgery, please share your opinionㅠ It’s not like there’s a functional problem, but personally I really hate the stiffness and the narrowed nasal tip, so I want to take it out.
