I was originally planning extraction orthodontic treatment for the purpose of correcting my protruding mouth, and I was going to align my teeth first, so I haven’t had any extractions yet. After starting to wear braces this week, I noticed that I might have a recessed chin. From what everyone can see, 1. Is my recessed chin and protruding mouth severe? 2. Is it right to continue protruding-mouth correction? If I continue, should it be with extractions or without extractions? 3. If I do have a recessed chin, how can it be improved? I would appreciate your opinions.
