Eye Surgery Considerations

D-Day Review

The manager was really kind, and the doctor was also so, so nice, but the pressure to pay a deposit was way too strong. I clearly said I needed time to think, and that I was still a student and had to talk to my parents, so I needed some time, but they kept talking about the deposit the entire consultation to the point where I could not even ask the questions I had. They were kind, but the pressure was so strong that I did not like it. As soon as I went in, the doctor asked whether I had a nose reference photo I wanted and to show it. He analyzed my nose one part by part while shaping it with a cotton swab, and I got the sense of what shape my nose would end up as. Up to that point, it was just the deposit pressure, which I could refuse, and the doctor seemed fine, so I was thinking maybe I would do it here. But when they sent me the consultation summary by KakaoTalk, they had clearly only talked to me about costal cartilage and silicone, but suddenly there was a note saying that ear cartilage might also be used and that there could be an additional fee later, and I was like, huh? They had not mentioned ear cartilage at all during the consultation, so it was in the message after everything was already over, and I just decided not to go.
