It has already been 17 years since I had nose surgery. I used 3 mm Gore-Tex and ear cartilage. A few years ago, I visited the hospital because the ear cartilage was showing through, and they said it was done with silicone. At the time of surgery, they said it was Gore-Tex, so I don't know which is correct. Since about a year ago, the tip of my nose has been continuously red, and something like a pimple appeared on the nasal tip, so I went to a nearby plastic surgery clinic. They said it seemed like slight contracture and told me to get a CT scan to see if there is inflammation in the nose. They said if there is a problem, I would need complete removal.
