I had my first nose surgery without knowing anything, and I’m seriously torn over whether I should have early removal. One doctor says it would be better to remove it early, and another doctor says doing it after 6 months gives better results, so I’m going crazy. I’m currently one month post-op, and they say Medpor can even dissolve the surrounding cartilage, so if that happens I really don’t think I could handle it. I have a strong urge to remove it early and feel at ease, but then some people say absolutely do not do early removal, and others say early removal has the highest chance of returning to the original nose. Sigh. I want to remove everything and leave nothing behind, and I don’t want to build a support strut either…
