If I remove an ear cartilage columellar strut, could it droop lower than my pre-surgery height?

I know it depends case by case for each person, but assuming there is no contracture or inflammation, the majority opinion seems to be that removing something like an ear cartilage strut would leave it around the original height, or around a height in between because of scar tissue. However, while some people are of the opinion that complete removal is possible, others say something like a strut must be left behind, though I’m not sure if that’s because the nasal tip ligaments stretch. In my case, the nasal septum itself near the nasal tip is deviated to the left, and maybe because it was placed on top as is, even after 6 years I still have a feeling of pressure on the left nasal septum…
