During my first surgery, all of my septal cartilage was used, and now I have contracture, so I’m scheduled for surgery with autologous costal cartilage. I’m going to have septal extension with autologous costal cartilage and not put anything in the nasal bridge. But I understand that autologous costal cartilage warping only occurs when it’s placed in the nasal bridge, but looking at posts, it seems like that might not be the case, so can warping also occur in autologous costal cartilage used for septal extension?

I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
