It’s been 1 year since my nose surgery, and I have silicone, donated costal cartilage, and ear cartilage in my nose. I had been living without any problems, but lately my nasal skin keeps itching, and patches of my skin are turning red. When I purse my lips, I have a pulling sensation in the columella. The pulling in the columella is okay when I’m still, but when I purse my lips like when applying tint and pressing my lips together, the columella doesn’t stretch, so I feel a pulling sensation and it’s uncomfortableㅜ But my skin is also sensitive, and because the hospital where I had surgery is closed over the holidays, I can’t get seen right away. Even the nostril wings, where there’s no implant material, are itchy and red…

I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
