I got my upper arms done yesterday
Some people said it hurts during the procedure and some said it doesn’t, so I wasn’t nervous, but when the nurse gave me the injection in my buttock (it seriously hurt like crazy), she said the anesthetic injections later would hurt more than that. So I asked if people cry when the solution is injected, and she said a lot do.. Some people cry and some even scream, so from that moment I got insanely nervous and my heart was pounding.
But surprisingly, out of the 4 anesthetic shots, only about 2 hurt a bit, and the feeling of the solution going in.. I can describe it really accurately. You know how cats knead with their paws? It felt like a hundred cats all came at once and were kneading my arms. It hurt a little, and when it went near the armpit area it tickled too, so somehow it felt funny and cute.. All I could think about was cats.. That is exactly what it felt likeㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
And when they extract the fat, it doesn’t hurt at all. What does the extraction feel like? Like being scratched with a back scratcher that doesn’t feel refreshing at all? Like being scratched with a blunt fingertip after the nails were cut really short?ㅋㅋㅋ That’s exactly it. I wanted to fall asleep too, but I wasn’t sleepy, so I just sang songs in my head.
They did my right arm first, and when they did my left arm it hurt a little, but rather than pain, it was more itchy. Maybe my pain button is just a little weird,, Then it was over, and I think it took about 2 hours total? After that I lay face down on the bed, got something warm, and came home. But when I slept at night, so much solution leaked that it got all over the bed..ㅜ Everyone, put plastic on the bed, then lay a towel over it and lie down.. And my elbows hurt like crazy, so I only slept about 3 hours.. Thankfully it’s okay now.
Also, they told me not to do cold or warm compresses because I might get frostbite or burns.. But I’m going on a family trip in 3 days and have to keep it a secret, so I needed to prevent bruising as much as possible, so I used one of those ocher heat packs as a cold compress. It’s not something you freeze; you put it in the refrigerator to cool it before using it, so it isn’t cold like ice, just cool. Maybe thanks to that, the bruising hasn’t gotten dark yet, but I guess I’ll only know after a little more time..
Oh, and I’m so happy that the line is already visible. I hope next week comes quickly. For reference, I was 32 cm, I think? And a total of 14 bottles came out. They said my fat came out concentrated.
