About 10 years ago, I had my hump removed and had a septal cartilage strut extended at the nasal tip, but I still feel a foreign-body sensation, an unnatural pointiness, and cartilage show-through, so I’m going around for consultations. I’ve been to two places, and yesterday I went to one more of the so-called top three. The wait was longer than I expected, so I did get annoyedㅜㅜ Before seeing the director, I filled out a questionnaire in advance, and they answered while looking at it. They put on vinyl gloves, palpated my nose, and checked it with ultrasound. At other places, they said they couldn’t guarantee the nose shape after removal, or that even if it doesn’t collapse or turn up beyond my original nose, a space could form where the cartilage had been, so AlloDerm might be placed, and autologous dermis might need to be used at the nasal tip…

I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
