I had surgery using septal cartilage and silicone, and it has been a long time. Since before, the silicone was noticeable, so I wanted to remove it, but I couldn’t due to circumstances, and now I’m looking into it again.
But if only the silicone is removed, do things like the nasal line becoming uneven, bumpy, or collapsing always happen? There are also posts from people who removed only old silicone and have been fine, but when I go for consultations, I hear conflicting things like “Don’t worry too much about removing only the silicone” or “Your nose shape will become unattractive, so you’ll end up doing it again,” “It will collapse,” and I’m so confused.
Each hospital says different things too, so I don’t know if the hospitals are scaring me too much, or overall…
