I had my first rhinoplasty back when I was in high school, and now I’m in my mid-30s. After surgery there were no other major issues, but it was high from the glabella and the nasal tip became bigger, so it wasn’t a good surgery. For the dorsum, they used auricular cartilage with a 4mm silicone septal extension strut. The surgery was shockingly painful, and recovery took a long time, so I never even considered a revision and just lived on with it ㅎ Then, with long-term autonomic nervous system imbalance and autoimmune disease, I also wonder if it might be because of the silicone. There is only slight foreign-body sensation and no inflammation, but I’m already dissatisfied with the height and shape, so for these combined reasons …

I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
