As I kept going around for consultations, I found that way more doctors than I expected prefer septal extension graft surgery. But with septal extension graft surgery, whether it’s on the left or right side of the existing septum, they basically attach cartilage to one side of the septum, then tie the alar cartilage to that and suspend it there. If that’s the case, it seems like the nasal airway on the side where the septum is tied would definitely become more blocked than before, so I’m curious about reviews from people who have actually had it done. And I really hope those of you who are struggling with it get better ㅠ
