Current situation: I’m in the first month after my first nose surgery, with 1) autologous costal cartilage, 2) 5 mm silicone, and 3) auricular cartilage used. The right-sided nasal blockage is so severe that for several weeks I’ve been in a state of not being able to sleep for more than 3 hours. At the hospital where the surgery was done, they said at the 2-week postoperative check that it was swelling and advised waiting a little longer. In week 3, because the swelling seemed to be lasting too long, I visited an ENT clinic, where I was told the septum is deviated. After I told the hospital, they reassessed it and said, “Isn’t this something you had done in ENT?” and “It’s mucosal swelling …”

I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
