Hello. I had total removal done yesterday, and I was so out of it that I’m only posting a review now. First of all, mine was a case where everything was removed completely without a support graft. It wasn’t because I had contracture or inflammation; I just felt uncomfortable and like it was a ticking bomb that could go off at any time, so I had it removed.
I think the surgery took over 3 hours and 30 minutes. There was a lot of bleeding too, and I think they said it took some time to deal with the septal support graft because it had calcified, but I was half-asleep so my memory is hazy.
For now, my nose did come out similar to my natural nose shape, but it’s still very early after surgery, so the nasal tip is lifted and the glabella area looks like Avatar …
