I’ve already had my 3rd surgery, and each time silicone was used for the nasal bridge. For the columella, the materials used were roughly like this: 1. probably ear cartilage 2. Medpor 3. donated costal cartilage. For my first surgery, it was so long ago and I went in knowing nothing, and no one around me could even tell I had surgery, so I don’t think I really had any side effects. Starting from the second surgery, they raised it too much and used Medpor, so the nasal dorsum became red and the silicone started showing through. Now I’m looking into removal surgery as my final surgeryㅜㅜ I went to ㅅㅅㅇ yesterday, and they said the donated costal cartilage in my nose tip has been absorbed to what seems like a severe degree, so they would remove the silicone and, for the nose tip, harvest ear cartilage …
