It’s day 2 after my nose surgery, and I’m supposed to apply ointment with a cotton swab, but the inside of my nose is blocked by a big jelly-like blood clot. I feel like it’ll bleed if I remove it, and it’s not the kind of clot that will come out cleanly in one go. Tomorrow is Sunday, so I can’t even contact the clinic, and I’m worried that if I just leave it until Monday, it might get inflamed. Does anyone know what I should do? The clinic didn’t explain this to me.
