Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redo

I had my whole nose implant removed today

After 8 years, the silicone came out inside my nose, so I had everything removed My original nose was a bulbous, low, short nose, and the surgery was 4 mm silicone + septal cartilage

It was done with an open approach, and they said there was a lot of scar tissue, the alar cartilage was torn, and the cartilage had meltedㅠㅠ So they stitched that up and reinforced it with septal cartilage, they said. That’s why it took 1 hour longer than expected..ㅠ

I worried a lot about whether to do open or closed, whether to remove everything or just take out the silicone, but I ended up thinking I’m glad I did it...

And I’m a scaredy-cat, so it hurt and was hard for me. When they were removing the scar tissue, it really hurt... And I hate that hazy feeling from sedation anesthesia too Even if it didn’t hurt, I hated being able to feel the surgery, like, oh they’re stitching, they’re pulling the cartilage, they’re cutting... It was so scary that I thought I never want to get on an operating table again...

Right now I have a splint on, so I don’t know the exact line, but I’m hoping it turns out well. From the little I can see with the splint on, well... of course it’s lower than my operated nose, but I’m satisfiedㅋㅋㅋ My mind really feels relieved

Anyway, I got a lot of strength from reviews too, so I really wanted to write one, but because of the anesthesia I was groggy and in pain, so I wondered how everyone manages to write these But after taking medicine, I can write it. Anyway, everyone, fighting
