7 days after surgery

I found this community's site quite late, so I went after reading a ton of rhinoplasty reviews because I am honestly such a dramatic person - I was really worried I couldn’t even sleep the night before surgery, to the point that I was seriously nervous enough to think about taking some calming medicine before going in It really feels like it was just the day before yesterday ~ But- I had heard it would hurt a little when they chiseled the bone, feel strange, and that it would still be unpleasant when they removed the gauze, so I went in thinking it would be about that much But it wasn’t just a little bit It was the first time in my life I had ever felt such a strange pain (?) After the ear cartilage harvest, when they did my nose, I cried the whole time from the moment they started chiseling the bone I tried to hold it in because they said crying makes the swelling worse, but tears just started coming out on their own That sharp pain when they were chiseling the bone and that unpleasant feeling when they removed the gauze when they kept pressing hard to shape the nose blood just ran down under my nose - Ugh. I still remember the feeling of the surgery so vividly and I really never want to go through it again But they say the shape of a nose job settles gradually, so that’s really depressing - My facial swelling seems to have mostly gone down, and my nose is still rock hard - I haven’t even taken the bandage off, but even getting treatment is total stress How can the nurses all be so unfriendly I know they’re probably tired of doing the same thing over and over, but could they be a little gentler when disinfecting it? Is that going to make it get infected or something? -_- They’re so damn grumpy while stuffing cotton in ~ Anyway, aside from the nurses being disgusting I still don’t know whether my nose shape turned out well or not It’ll get prettier, right?
